Employees
The Employees tab on Home is the default view, and opening the console takes you straight to it. It answers "how are my people using public AI applications, and where is the risk?"
The Employees tab: at-a-glance metrics, an intention breakdown, conversation trend, and policy coverage.
Metric cards
A rail of cards summarizes the window, each showing a total, a trend sparkline, and how it changed from the previous window. Select a card to drill into that view:
Card | What it counts |
Conversations | Total AI conversations in the window. |
Applications | Applications seen in conversations, plus applications discovered with usage on your network. The two sources are counted separately, so this total can be higher than the number on the Discovery page. |
Users | Users with AI activity this period. This differs from the Discovery page, which counts everyone seen accessing discovered apps on your network, including those with no AI activity. |
Alerts | Policy alerts raised, with the number that are high-severity. |
Blocked Prompts | Prompts that were blocked, with the number that are high-severity. |
Charts
Intention Explorer. A breakdown of why people are using AI, classified into intention categories such as Programming, Technology & Computing; Health & Wellness; Finance & Investing; Business; and Cybersecurity & Privacy. The accompanying list ranks categories by conversation count so you can see what AI is actually being used for.
Conversations Trend. A day-by-day chart of conversation volume, split by policy coverage (Covered by Policy, Observability Policy, and Not Covered by Policy), so you can see both usage over time and how much of it your policies govern.
Conversation Coverage by Policy. A single figure (and chart) showing the percentage of conversations covered by an enforcing policy versus observability-only or not covered. It's a quick read on your governance reach.
Conversations by Group. Conversation counts broken down by user group, so you can see which parts of the organization are most active.
To scope the tab by date range, department or application, see Scope what you see on Home.
