macOS Binary Installation
Witness Anywhere for macOS registers a managed Mac with WitnessAI, so its AI traffic is inspected even when the device is off the corporate network. You deploy it through your MDM, using a registration script you generate in the WitnessAI console.

Download the installer
Download the macOS installer package here.
Generate a PAC token and download the registration script
- As a user with the Admin role or above, sign in to the WitnessAI console.
- Select Administration, then Proxy under Configuration. The Proxy Configuration page opens.
- Enter a Key Name, choose an Expiration Date, and select Generate PAC Token.
- In the new token's row, select the download icon in the SCRIPT column.
- In the Download Device Registration Script dialog, choose Jamf (macOS) from the Platform list, and select Download. A zip file with the registration scripts downloads to your computer.
Deploy with your MDM
Distribute the package and run the registration script through your MDM. For Jamf, follow Deploying on macOS with Jamf. For other deployment options, see Witness Anywhere.
Verify
- On the Mac, open a supported AI application and send a prompt.
- In the console, open Conversations and confirm that the prompt appears.
