Guardrail Studio: Ask AI

The Ask AI button opens a floating assistant that's available everywhere in the Studio.

What Ask AI can do

Task

Create new guardrails
"Create a guardrail for a healthcare chatbot to block the misuse of prescription drugs"

Applying what it proposes

  • A new guardrail: choose Add New Guardrail, or replace the open guardrail with it.
  • Changes to the open guardrail: Apply Changes to Current Guardrail shows exactly what will change (Context, new rules, modified rules, removed rules) before you click Apply. Everything not mentioned stays unchanged.
  • Generated test cases: run them straight from the chat with Run Tests.
Press Enter to send and Shift+Enter for a new line.
Note: A guardrail created by Ask AI isn't saved until you use Save as Template. See
